January 30, 2021 - Certainly mature both in colour and both on the nose and taste. However still good fruit maybe a bit heavy on the new oak leaving overpowering vanilla. Even so i enjoyed it
February 25, 2020 - My tasting experience mirrored pdrago on 2/24/2019. Good acid, some fruit left and elegant minerality.
February 24, 2019 - Bob Mandeau's 60th Birthday.
Bright and angular with an almost briney/savory characteristic. It shows some weight and gorgeous lemon notes to go with a touch of honey. Lovely. This bottle tasted younger and leaner than I would have guessed.
November 25, 2018 - Note: I use a scale on which 85 represents a very good wine.
Excellent bottle. Needed to warm up out of the fridge (for certain), but more important, it needed to breathe for at least 1 hour. Opened up meaningfully. Probably not as good as the bottle I had in 2015 (it started very lean, whereas the previous bottle started off a bit richer), but still a fine drink.
July 21, 2018 - Nötig, Erik, gyllengul
July 19, 2015 - Beautiful nose of vanilla, honey, and tropical fruit. Would buy again.
July 12, 2015 - Fantastic! Golden Colour, Nuts, citrus fruit, flowers and subtle honey... long finish and great structure... A bargain for what you got... Would do it again!
May 5, 2015 - Excellent bottle. Similar to RayOB, I noticed a definite improvement through the bottle -- although it started pretty strong. Rich but not unctuous, wonderfully aged. Great finish A subtle wine that should be savored rather than drunk.
May 2, 2014 - dark gold, lots of clarity, silvery hue
Nose: musk, clay, minerals, honey, flowers, white pepper, golden delicious apple
Pal: golden delicious apple, musk, clay, honey, minerals, white pepper, flowers, thyme, rosemary
Feel: medium, savory
Finish: medium

November 21, 2013 - Domaine Louis Latour tasting, San Diego Bay Wine and Food Festival (San Diego Marriot Marquis & Marina): Soft apple nose; viscous body with hazelnut and some nice tangy lemon/lime. So much better than my last bottle (09/04/13)
