  January 27, 2015 - Slightly hazy, medium garnet color.
  
  Developing nose with a medium+ aroma intensity. Aromas of leather, rubber tires, wet earth, prunes, pepper, green bell pepper, dark raspberries and a slightly perfumed note of hyacinth.
  
  Dry on the palate with a medium acidity, medium tannin and medium+ body. Flavor intensity is medium+. Flavors of cassis, black berries, bell pepper, violets, earth and rubber. Finish is medium.
  
  I think this is in a really good place right now. It shows some development but still has a lot of youthful fruit left. It has some obvious green notes and along with the cool, dark berry fruit it lead me directly towards Cab Franc from Loire. Anyhow, damn juicy, old school Syrah.

  April 5, 2013 - Has hit its stride, good secondary development, fabulous Syrah rubbery smoke, black pepper, wild raspberry fruit. Creamy, settled palate. Fantastic showpiece for the septentrional. Grape, terroir and winemaking.

  May 26, 2011 - Seemed muted at first, but the syrah fragrance grew in the glass, and this is now rather elegant, more than just a blast of syrah fruit
