November 13, 2021 - Voluptuous, red fruited, but with a rather disjointed finish. Great nose.

October 28, 2021 - Candied wild berries with raspberry and blueberry on the nose.. Good freshness, not at all flabby or overwrought. Light to medium body but relatively showy alcohol. Some nice grip to the finish with a hint of lead pencil. I really enjoyed this wine over two days, it held up well without any real evolution in the fridge. This is exactly what I want in a Zin although I’d love to see the alcohol half a point lower.

May 29, 2021 - Consumed from a GGG glass after pop n' pour.

Lovely purple and blue fruit notes, slightly rustic on the nose. Good acid and fine tannic structure, but not austere as the fruit notes are nice and high-toned, though not overly plush/ripe. With time in the glass more herbal and spice notes of dried sage, black pepper, and eucalyptus evolve on the palate. Delicious stuff from Morgan and crew!

March 23, 2021 - Fu¢kin’ a! This reminds me of what I love about young RRV Zin from Bedrock. Lovely purple fruit full of energy, verve and juicy goodness. Very reminiscent of the early Dolinseks on release.
I remember the days when I could load up on great Bedrocks but alas I am only allotted two bottles. I could drink this wine almost any day.

February 27, 2021 - What a fun wine. From the pop, this smells like summer: Peach blueberry cobbler with a dollop of vanilla ice cream and a hint of graham cracker crust. A little savory spice. Tannins are present but easy. IMO, this is one to drink NOW in all its fruit forward brilliance. Just delicious.

February 13, 2021 - Full fruited with good spice and roundness on the palate. Wild berry with soft, slightly polished tannins. I know that folks love to suggest that Bedrocks are wines to hold 5-10 years, but for structure, this is really drinkable now

January 30, 2021 - Decanted for five hours before dinner. Bright purple in the glass. Deep but not strong aroma of violets, blueberries and cracked black pepper. Clearly very young and tannic but displaying wonderful fruit even now. Plums, blueberries, blackberries, a touch of cedar and a tight cedar undertow. Really good with food but obviously needs a decade or more to see it at its very best.
