September 2, 2022 - Has lost some fruit but still very smooth. No tannins. Flavors of raisin and a bit of leather. Enjoyed w rib eyes.

July 28, 2018 - Fully mature Bordeaux with a crimson brickish color. Nose of earth, tobacco, and scant fruit. Tastes of plums, leather, and tobacco. This Bordeaux is very smooth; it’s tannins are fully integrated. Medium bodied with a short finish. Probably would have been better 5-6 years ago.

September 28, 2004 - Color is a clear brick red, traditional and not promising any block busting. The nose was clean showing a dusty cigarbox and some cedar. On the palate, there was marked acidity, a bit of earthy fruit, a light body and drying, but not obtrusive, tannins. A perfectly fine wine with dinner, but it isn't something you would sip for pleasure on its own. With a few more years the tannins may recede a bit more and sweeten the package.
