En bouche très armonieux, fruité mais pas sucré, fruits noirs et rouges, peu acide. Extrêmement bien équilibré

January 2, 2022 - I expected nothing and got so much more. Lambrusco was only for ‘childs play” when I was a young man. Frizzante and mildly sweet. It may even have been refreshing if very cold on a hot day.
I have heard it is much improved. Alas my youthful memories will stop me buying BUT this caught my eye, purely out of curiosity.
Many years ago at College we occasionally served a Sparkling Red Burgundy which was not bad.
This Sparkling Lambrusco is better. Beautiful bright crimson fruit, very appealing. In the mouth quite dry with hints of acid and tannin with dry red fruit. Very satisfying as a novelty to be drunk in the shade on a sunny day.
11 degrees alcohol so perfect earlier in the day.
