September 13, 2022 - Stone fruit flavor mixed with asparagus notes. Very interesting.

April 21, 2022 - Rather quiet nose of pink grapefruit, apple, lemon zest. On the palate, medium + acid, medium - body, the fruit is subtle, much more subtle than the craggy range I had recently. Refreshing with a balanced finish, but a little too quiet and simple. If I'm going for a NZ sauv blanc, I want a lot of tropical fruit and citrus in my face. Would probably opt for the craggy range at this price point. Might even prefer oyster bay at a lower price point. May be a personal preference.

April 10, 2022 - Had at restaurant. Initial nose of melons, kiwi and nutmeg. Intoxicating ! Unfortunately this was transient and soon the familiar NZ SB nose of citrus (grapefruit) and gooseberries dominated but not in a bad way, but the initial nose was more interesting. Crisp acid and good mouth feel moderate finish.

March 26, 2022 - Fantastic & exuberant aromas of crisp gooseberry, key lime, white grapefruit, & fresh cut grass. Nice weigh & texture in the mouth, supporting crisp acid , but just a dull tone on the finish thats a bit distracting . One of New Zealand’s staples in SB .An excellent wine , just a few ticks away and element of lusciousness from being in that upper tier of NZ.

March 11, 2022 - Very fruit forward. Medium acidity. Nice, crisp wine with a meal at Johnnys Steakhouse.
