February 5, 2021 - Clear pale garnet/brick; clean medium nose of jammy red cherries, jammy strawberries, soil and dust - bordering on confected; dry; high acidity; medium plus tannins; medium plus alcohol; medium plus body; medium plus flavour intensity; palate is tarter with addition of cocoa; medium plus finish; drink now or in 5 years; a little underwhelming given all the hype

December 31, 2020 - Clear pale ruby; clean medium plus nose of moist soil, ripe red cherries and elegant perfume; dry; high acidity; medium plus tannins; medium plus alcohol; medium plus body; medium plus flavour intensity; palate is slightly tarter with addition of cocoa; long finish; drink now or in 5 years; wished it were more complex - interested to see if this comes with age

December 5, 2020 - Wow, this one is much better than the 2004 when I paid almost 50% more. Screw cap too. It is much fresher right out of the gate with delicious juicy intense cherry, and well seasoned oak spice. Can’t stop sipping it and at 13.5% alcohol, you’ll find the whole bottle gone before you know it. Great wine for thanksgiving! Can it age? Definite yes. But I may have to open my last bottle of 04 to see exactly how long.

November 30, 2020 - Deep ruby-garnet; sweet cherries, raspberries, cranberries, beets, earth, chalk; ripe cran-cherry, minerally, smooth, light-medium body, good acidity, grainy tannins, good finish
Soft berries intertwining with minerals on the nose, palate and clean finish. Fine terroir here!
