December 13, 2021 - Unfiltered with sediment, onion skin orange colour. Nose pineapple- ripe but not sweet. Alcohol barely noticeable, flavours more like a fruity craft beer or Belgian beer. Interesting, but not a convert to this style

June 28, 2021 - Austrian Wine Masterclass - The Art of Wine; Down to Earth; 6/24/2021-6/29/2021 (Praelum Wine Bistro): Cloudy orange. Strong floral rosy aromas and flavours, as well as nutty and cream, as well as dried peach and pineapple. The nutty flavours persist, leaving a fairly long finish. Interestingly nice!

June 1, 2021 - Initially a sweet honeyness on the nose, although this was not matched by the taste. Definite "cideryness" to the taste, presumably due to the natural fermentation. Don't recall much else in terms of palette, did become softer as it warmed up a bit (also due to being open to the air maybe?) Interesting wine but would not necessarily buy again.

May 28, 2021 - There's special magic in visiting a certain wine region multiple times and meeting the makers behind the great juice that comes out of it. If you want a taste of this experience, Neusiedlersee in Austria's Burgenland is an ideal place to start. It's a region that's romanticized for its big lake (Neusiedl) that creates tons of humidity and foggy conditions in autumn, leading to some of the world's most delicious sweet wines. But even if you don't have a sweet tooth, here you can find huge diversity in styles. One such example is this glou-glou orange from Pittnauer.

What I love about Gerhard & Brigitte is that they're consistent with every label they put out. The quality will go up with their popularity, which is not a given with a lot of winemakers unfortunately. Blonde by Nature is a blend of Chardonnay, GrĂ¼ner Veltliner and Pinot Blanc. If you tried BBN's sibling 'Perfect Day', you'll see that this is a much drier version of the Muscat-dominated blend. There's more crunch here and the acid is slightly sharper. Paired perfectly with Korean Kimchi Bibim Guksu. When I say perfectly, it's double-highlighted. *Drool*
