February 5, 2024 - Decanted about 1 hour ahead, served with substantial appetizers, bread, mushrooms, roasted peppers. Opened nicely and great flavor, balanced and enough acid later with main Italian meal: raddichio salad, pasta with artichoke/pork cheek sauce. Lovely featured Italian/Felsina Sangiovese. Yummy happy diners.

April 3, 2023 - Opened and let breathe 30 minutes before serving. Red and black fruit, primarily cherry and tomato with an herbal note I couldn't quite identify. Medium-high acidity and a fairly short finish. Paired nicely with pasta. Price is a little high for a wine I'd consider more of a weekday drinker, but nonetheless an enjoyable wine from a dependable producer.

August 2, 2022 - PnP. Lots of cherries on the nose and palate. Initially somewhat acidic - this calmed down eventually (especially paired with several Italian red sauces). Recommendation - a short (30+ mint decant) or give it another year + to smooth out. 88-89
