May 21, 2018 - The cork broke and it was initially slightly bitter. But after 30-45 minutes, it blossomed. This wine has always had a slightly candied flavor to it, which adds to the richness. Just sweet fruit, not high sugar. And only 14 percent alcohol, unlike many Aussie wines, which are difficult to drink if you're not in a group.
All in all, a lovely wine with a ribeye and after. no hard edges and fully mature as you would expect at this point. Hard to put down. Wish I had more.

January 1, 2016 - I'm hoping this Cab has just shut down for a few years. Wet grass and asparagus flavors. Yuck! Tasting notes of other and myself were good when the wine was young, but dropped in the last two years. I'll try again in a couple of years and hope for better.

October 13, 2013 - This bottle was stored in perfect conditions since purchase.

It tasted flat, some sweetness but not fruit flavoured, more like cotton candy. It was both simple and offensive.

I shall leave it in the decanter for a few hours and revisit it. If it does not improve it shall be the first wine to go down the drain in over 2 years. I've had corked bottles of wine that tasted far better than this.

September 21, 2013 - Decanted for 2 hours before it calmed down. I think the bottle was going through some secondary fermentation. After a few hours it settled down, with deep leather, coffee, chocolate and dark fruit. I have 2 more bottles. I won't touch them for at least 3 - 5 yrs.
