January 19, 2024 - PnP. Strawberry, pomegranate, herbs, pie spice, some underlying mushroom and earthy notes. The nose is very savory. I haven't tasted this in almost two years, but I like where this is and where it seems to be going. Medium body, medium+ acidity. There's still some tartness in the finish, but I think it works with overall profile. This is not a fruit forward wine (at least now), but it has really seductive earth and mushroom aromas and flavors. This might be a polarizing wine in some ways, but I love the darker earth/mushroom and more savory character of this. One more bottle but will try to hold until 2027.

March 22, 2023 - Popped and poured at cellar temp. Lovely translucent dark red color. Pomegranate, Asian spices and sandalwood on a bright nose. Quite tart and tight on the palate - showing sharp cranberry and a very savory tea note with lots of acidity that carries from the mid palate through the finish. Very nicely made, but not giving a ton of pleasure as it needs some more fruit on the palate.

July 27, 2022 - Quite nice. Earthy, crisp, pomegranate and bright raspberry-cherry fruit. Not as obviously savoury to me as others have mentioned but definitely in a leaner style that I enjoy.

February 25, 2022 - Picked up another one because I thought I hadn't tasted this one already, but then realized I did. Consistent with my note from Nov 2021. Interesting also to taste it after recently having tasted the 2018 version of this (no notes for that one). This is more open than the 2018 and while it has more elegance, it still has great structure to age. It's a wine with a great future, but it's also a delight to drink now.

November 25, 2021 - Opened two days ago on Thanksgiving. Unusual flavor, but didn't seriously evaluate it at the time. Today it's drinking how I remember it. Not much of a nose and the flavor is not like PN. Some cherry, cough syrup, not much else.
