March 13, 2023 - This is a click better than many of the best Cali Chards in the $20-30 range. 6 months on oak (less than many Cali) helps the fruit and stone minerals shine and is a good compromise between oaked and unoaked. Really fine effort from Jabot.

September 10, 2022 - Popped the cork and received the pleasant nose of this wine. This wine did not disappoint and is my favorite Chardonnay for the price. Pale straw color combined with a crisp and bright wine. This wine hits all of the notes of dryness, with a slight bit of pear and wet stone. Drinking well now, and may have a little left in the tank, but don’t wait too long on this vintage. Served with salmon and asparagus, and paired great with our meal.

March 11, 2022 - A pleasant enough showing focused around lemon tart, white flowers, Bosc pears, citrus and vanilla. I think there is enough to like here.

January 16, 2022 - Aromas of white flowers, ripe apple, lemon custard and spice. Red apple, lemon, vanilla and spice with soft butter notes on the palate. Creamy, lingering finish. Very well balanced. Served with tarragon shrimp and linguine.

December 18, 2021 - Enough essence of a white Burgundy to enjoy this inexpensive Chardonnay that is more to my taste than a California Chardonnay for a similar price.

October 17, 2021 - Tasted with Jadot 2020 Macon Villages, a bit heavier, not much bouquet, more body, not as tart, good fruit, not worth the extra money compared to the Macon, drank with steamed clams, sautéed flounder and corn on the cob, might drink again but the Macon is tempting.

August 16, 2021 - Good value in Burgundy village wine, 2019 Louis Jadot Pouilly-Fuissé, $23. Sharp mid-green gold; tropical nose; wine lees, citrus, wood; low-mid acids; mid body (13.0 alc.); toward the fatter buttery style on the finish. w/seafood pasta. 15.5 UC Davis scale, 89 other scales.
