February 12, 2022 - Always a good Sagrantino and affordable! This one is at the end of its drinking window. No need to decant, showing rich tertiary aromas..... liquorice, truffles, cured meat, oak and notes of chocolate fill the nose and the mouth. In the long, warm finish the signature Sagrantino's tannins, still strong but very elegant, wrap your tongue. Great wine!
