  December 31, 2023 - Golden Yellow. Like the Charme aux Pretres this was quite nutty and yeasty on the nose. The palate is then utterly different, and like the other wine was life-affirming with crisp white fruit and searing acidity than makes you sit up and pat attention. Gloriously alive and exciting. Zippy, zingy, tingly, just a brilliant effort. I would loved to have tried the two side by side as several days apart I find them inseparable and having essentially identical qualities. This was light years better than a PYCM Chassagne vv opened before it.

  January 19, 2023 - Medium golden in color.
  Slightly bruised apple, savory herbs (maybe just a hint of fennel), mango candy, lemon drop, honey, lime zest, Fruit is a bit descicated and overripe.
  Compared to 2019 Sylvain Pataille Bourgogne Aligoté "La Charme aux Prêtres":
  Fuller bodied, more punchy. Fruit is riper, to a point of overripeness. One coukd define the Kings Enclosure as the more masculine wine.

  December 18, 2022 - Robe jaune soleil d'intensité moyenne.
  
  Nez très (trop) simple principalement sur la pomme verte grany.
  
  La bouche est par contre clairement au dessus du nez, intensité des saveurs et très bonne longueur

  September 6, 2022 - Attractively mealy nose, with white peaches and lightly toasted almonds, and a whiff of lime. Complex if a bit agricultural. Rich and full-bodied in the mouth, though with a decent jolt of acidity to keep things steely fresh. Another impressive Aligote from this vintage from Pataille
