September 9, 2023 - Really nice wine. I actually didnt taste until Day 3 as my wife opened without me but showed a lot of character and complexity, giving off aromas of violet, black cherry and plum, aromatic woods. Palate showed medium plus tannin, nice juicy acidity and notes of smoke, charcoal, dark fruits, leather and a nice balance to produce good length on the finish. Agree with others that it could definitely age a few more years, though also not necessary. Really impressed with this $17 wine and was the showing I was looking for to go scoop up a bunch.

May 15, 2022 - I would have rated this 86 or 87 on the first day when I thought it lacked complexity Much better day 2 when it showed length, some herbal notes and more interest with braised short ribs than with roast chicken on day 1.

May 8, 2022 - Great QPR. This is not overdone. Very balanced with moderate tannins and an equal dose of red fruit. Lean enough to have some subtleties that can be enjoyed- stone, graphite, pepper. Medium length finish.
