May 28, 2017 - Lots of spice with black cherry and berry, perhaps a bit too much new oak that never perfectly absorbed. Still very rich and dense while still maintaining good energy. Purchased from DuMOL at release.

June 29, 2016 - No contemporaneous note but I remember this being quite good and barely in middle age.

November 24, 2011 - Lovely nose of dark & red fruits, spice and minerals. Medium weight with a super silky mouthfeel and an overall lightweight, elegant texture. Bright, pure, deep flavors with excellent complexity. Everything is nicely integrated and perfectly balanced. Finish is very tasty and medium length. This is an intense wine framed inside an elegant body -- and drinking great right now.

May 22, 2011 - Popped and poured at plumed Horse. Stellar aged PN. Thick black cherry fruit, with a powerful and fragrant nose. Fruit is fresh and bright, with complex finish (spice, some cola and mint) and powerful acidity.
