May 18, 2023 - Delicious. Pure dark fruit, tannin isn’t that high, but it’s quite balanced with great acid and moderate alcohol. My jaw dropped when I saw this was $12. A steal.

August 26, 2022 - Purchased for $9. Not the Reserva. This is a blend of 50% field blend, 30% Touriga Franca and 20% Touriga Nacional. I'd be interested to know what grapes are in the field blend. I get lots of pomegranate and cherry notes. But that much dark fruit. Red plum, but not black. Maybe the slightest hint of blackberry from the Nacional. Leather and tobacco. Not bad for all entry level Douro, but I was kinda hoping for a little more from Quinta do Bomfim. Hoping for that diamond in the rough. Grade: B
