  March 31, 2022 - Alto Piemonte (Terra Rossa): Very bright in feel, and a touch spritzy and volatile. Bitter, characterful and perhaps a bit rustic. Would drink again, but not my favourite wine tonight.

  July 31, 2021 - This alpine version of nebbiolo from @cantinegarrone is an excuisitely elegant and light-footed expression of the grape. Delicate aromas of white flowers, redcurrant, anise, morel, sour cherry, sage and the softest flinty whiff. Cool and fresh red berries with lovely purity of fruit, juicy and light mouthfeel, lip-smacking acidity, and a medum long finish ending on notes of mild spice, fennel and cherry stone. Elegant and playful wine from the terraces in Domodossola, and yet another gem from @oneonthehill

  July 20, 2021 - This bottle was included in a OneOnTheHill wine club subscription. Bright medium ruby colour. Ample red fruit (strawberry, raspberry, red currant, red cherry) is joined by roses, iron, and spices, with good acidity, ripe, well-integrated tannin, a lightly creamy texture, and good length. Good fruit, concentration, and balance. Very accessible; shows the roundness and softness that seems to be a hallmark of the 2018 Nebbiolo vintage. Seemed a little bland at first, but kept improving as it breathed, and really developed nicely. For drinking now and over the mid-term.
