October 5, 2019 - This was a speculation auction bottle at its age. Still holding up ok, though doesn’t show much more than ‘typical aged’ notes. Happy enough with the experience.

March 12, 2007 - Nice old worldy nose...fruit foremost, but a bit of "funk." Deep ruby color. Dark cherry, light on the tannin, balanced acidity. A very nice wine. Frankly, after having tried a lot of other widely-available McWilliams' wines, this is the only one I'd strongly recommend.
