September 20, 2022 - Well ...... I can't possibly improve upon the words of CT member WINESPINE whose notes are spot on. I echo them as if mine !

Bravo to his notes ...... He "Nailed it" ! Except his 92 score, which is a little bit generous.

November 12, 2021 - Delicious. I wouldn’t call this a great value generally, but very good by Napa Valley standards. It’s similar to Buehler in that regard. This is from Carneros so it’s more a restrained, fresher style and not really for those who prefer a more bombastic style. The oak is there (40% new), but not overpowering at all. This could age for a decade, but I bought it to drink, not cellar, and it was ready to go after a decant. 90% CS, 10% CF, 1% each of PV and Malbec. We served with a charcuterie board and this wine made everyone happy, which makes me happy.

October 10, 2021 - No change from my previous reviews. And actually, while CS is my favorite wine, this is probably my least favorite red wine from Truchard.

August 6, 2021 - Another winner from Truchard. Great dry fruit with a long finish. Case worthy and will let them all rest until at least 2023.

May 29, 2021 - A very nice CS. Nice deep red fruit, plum, jam, cedar and vanilla, with a touch of spice at the end. Very nice mouthfeel, smooth tannins, minimal acidity and a medium finish. At the Wine Club price it’s an Excellent QPR. Would definitely get more.
