September 15, 2023 - Similar impressions to bottle from December '21. This is lush, big and in your face. Highly enjoyable and guests liked it as well.

December 19, 2022 - Found this at a corner liquor store, not expecting a Delille to be on the shelf. Popped and poured and it's the not for the faint of hard, quite bold and forward. Aromas include fully ripe juiced cherry, IHOP boysenberry syrup, five spice, unsmoked cigar, vanilla, and pink peppercorn. Full bodied like a two-year old Rottweiler, the tannins are thick and smooth while the acid is plush and juicy. It's almost cloying. Flavors include cherry and boysenberry sauces, dehydrated strawberry, thickened Tamari, and crisped sage. It's big and it's delicious if you're in the mood for that kind of thing. I wouldn't sit on this any longer as the alcohol is going to overwhelm any additional complexity or nuance. Clearly meant for the steak house.

December 24, 2021 - Dark garnet in the glass. Big bold nose of red and black fruits, spice, and hints of vanilla and licorice. Just screams, "Oh Wilson, punch you in the eye." Palate was silky but full bodied and followed the aromas from the nose while adding a tasty hint of oak. Medium length balanced finish. Last glass was just as good on day 2.
Went back today to pick up 3 more. At $20 in the last call aisle a great QPR. -

June 5, 2021 - A bold nose of dark fruits and spices, dark garnet in color. A medium to full bodied kitchen sink Bordeaux blend, with blueberry, black cherry, chocolate and spices on long finish, was very good. www.winelx.com

February 18, 2021 - No formal note...kept getting better in the glass. Either give this a long decant or lay it down for a few years.
