July 6, 2019 - Decanted in glass; totally superb after brief air; glorious perfume, beautiful burgundy; kept in temp controlled cellar 53 degrees since release and not near over yet

November 24, 2007 - Decanted 45 minutes. The nose was predominately one of wet earth, strawberries, and just touch of wood. With extended time in the glass, fennel and wintergreen notes became apparent. More for the same on the palate, that is a good dose of wet earth, and a rather stern display of red cherry fruit. Resiny pine needle flavors join the sound acidity, creating a rather inquisitive drink. Great with thanksgiving leftovers
