    April 2, 2024 - Good midweek quaffer

June 12, 2023 - Delightfully bright blackberry on the nose straight out of the bottle. The first taste is deceptively sweet - tough the wine overall is quite dry. Long fruity finish with light acidity and balanced tannins. Bought this some time back and let it age a couple years in the cellar .... wish I'd bought a case!

May 21, 2023 - Crimson-purple; cassis, blackberries, plums, soil, vanilla; ripe currant/berry, glycerin, silky, full body, soft acidity, fine tannins, lingering finish.
Ripe cassis and blackberry flavours with good balance and finish. So easy-to-drink, will buy again.

March 15, 2023 - Decanted 90 minutes prior to sipping and enjoyed over the following 3 hours with friends. Soft, pretty blackberries, blueberries and a little clove on the nose, but needs the airtime to start to open up and show any nuance. Some astringency out of the gate but it calms down over time. This is not a big, juicy Napa cab. It is softer and sits more in the mid-palate as a medium bodied wine. Definitely a wine to pair with food rather than sip alone. We paired with bison ribeye and it worked fairly well.
