August 29, 2021 - I don't usually tend to grab a Sauv Blanc when going for quality whites. I have to say, this is a top 3 Sauv Blanc coming out of California. The blend of a little Semillion kicks the SB into overdrive, allowing both richness and linear notes to co-exsist. Lemon, stonefruit, oil come together with great length!

August 15, 2021 - Grassy notes are accented by apple, quince and light grapefruit. There is a distinct minerality to this wine that is very appealing. Great depth and texture. This is one of the best Sauvignon Blancs out of California. The semillon adds beeswax and a light Smokey characteristic that gives this wine the “X” factors I seek. Great juice.

June 28, 2021 - Tasted blind. Pretty and floral nose of stone fruit and peach. Good acidity with citrus and white fruit on the palate with a nice, soft texture. Nice finish. A really pretty, delicious CA Sauvignon Blanc. Great wine!

April 30, 2021 - 3 days in Napa: Arkenstone, Memento Mori, Maxem, The French Laundry, Christopher Tynan, Kinsman, Harlan, Vice Versa, Accendo, Fairchild, Macdonald, and a truckload of others (Napa): Kiwi and lime notes lead the charge, with a secondary rush of lemon and quince flavors rounding-out the profile. A very suave rendition of Sauvignon Blanc, with notable texture and a silky mouthfeel. Less of a punchy stand-alone style and one geared more for food pairing and summer porch treat-popping pleasantries. Not especially deep or penetrating; elegance over flamboyance here. Certainly enjoyable!

April 23, 2021 - This Sauvignon Blanc blend needs another 6-12 months, but it’s plenty refreshing and interesting right now. Light yellow in color; medium in body; aromas of lemon peel, golden delicious apple, and brioche. Flavors of orange rind, apricot, and fresh toasted almond, with a citrus-inflected and vibrant finish. Blend of 68% Sauvignon Blanc, 17% Semillon, and 15% Sauvignon Musque. 14.2% alcohol.

The Accendo has quickly become one of my favorite Napa SBs in this price range. I drank this on the same night as another one of my favorites, a 2019 Larkmead Lillie. At the moment, the Larkmead tastes more integrated and full, while the Accendo seems more zippy and terse. Each is fantastic, though, and this one should be even better in a year or so. 93-94 at the moment.
