December 17, 2022 - I great shape, rich, big, creamy, slightly sweet stewed red and purple fruits. B&J X-mas party. Also had a 2007 Pax Viognier blend that tasted exactly like vanilla yogurt. Not sure which vineyard Syrah I brought.
April 11, 2022 - Raisinated flavors, it’s overextracted nature masks the varietal character. Cumbersome to drink. Lacks balance, heavy.

January 24, 2019 - Heavy handed and a touch overripe. If you love high point wine you will like it. If you are in pursuit of balance, not so much. Thankfully this style is now out of favor.
November 18, 2018 - Served at room temperature. Decant this wine. This wine gets better with aeration! Pronounced aromatics of smokey, eucalyptus and blackberry. Similar flavors with impressive depth and length of finish. Still drinking like a champ. EG #ArchitecturalArtistry #WineArchitect
April 20, 2018 - Quite different than i expected, with tart red fruits driving the bus. It had a nice structure and mouthfeel, with some soft tannins. No oak.
Some dark fruit and earthiness underneath the tart fruits. Pretty good wine, but not overly memorable.
October 6, 2017 - Delicious blackberry and boysenberry on the nose and palate with earth and savory spice notes on the long finish. Drinking beautifully!
