    September 15, 2023 - Decanted for 1 hour

Nose: Sweet wood, cherry, bright red fruits, flower bouquet, clay

Taste and mouthfeel: Fresh and bright, red berries, dark berries, medium body, acidity held up well for 22 years, surprisingly youthful and fresh for a 22 years old wine, tannins have somewhat dissolved but the wine still has enough structure and acidity to continue to develop for at least another five to ten years and should continue to drink well into 2030+, long finish. Good Wine. Showing beautifully.

October 2, 2022 - Bottle in perfect condition, bottom neck fill, clean cork with only 1-2mm of the tip soaked. Pnp. A fairly dark garnet showing little evolution. Pronounced feral notes on the nose, rich dark fruit on the rather musty palate, soft and lacking delineation, integrated tannins. Short finish. Not an impressive bottle.

September 18, 2022 - Purchased at a shop in Bordeaux and in very good condition. Beautiful nose of red fruits and farmyard. On the palate becomes more dark fruited, some sweetness, sweet tobacco. Fruit is there but seems on the cusp of fading. Plenty of acid to keep it juicy, tannins or smooth on first sip but rustic on the finish. Finish is long and fruity.
Hard to say where this is in its evolution. If the fruit holds up it has decades, but I am not sure it will.
Pnp and drank well over 4 hrs without much change

November 24, 2021 - Surprise! Surprise! Very tidy and clean, transperant bright ruby red in colour! Rather complex and lovely nose of black currant fruits echoing with leather, autumn leaves, oriental spices! The palate is rich, complex and clean! Intellectual! Offering a medium finish, rather satisfying! At its top form!
