March 31, 2024 - Medium (-) ruby colour. Medium and developing nose with ripe raspberry, ripe strawberry, ripe red cherry, charred wood, forest floor, mushrooms and violet. Medium taste of ripe raspberry, ripe strawberry, charred wood, forest floor, mushrooms and black pepper. Long and dry finish. High acidity. Light tannins. Medium body. A very good single vineyard Mercurey Rouge that is still young compared to the 2017 and 2018 vintages. Needed an hour of air to open. Drink now or over the next five years. Goes well with duck, mushrooms, pork or veal.

November 3, 2022 - subtilt med en självsäker elegans och för mig ett fint djup i hela smakbilden. Uttrycket är förvisso lättare med mörka körsbär, ljusa hallon och en vackert avrundad syra, men utan att för en sekund bli banalt.
