October 24, 2021 - Amazing depth compared to most Brunellos I have had. Notes of pepper, raspberry, blackberry with great concentration. Long finish, with superb mouth feel. Very unusual, in my experience, for a Brunello.

August 29, 2021 - Fruit is fading, giving way to lovely notes of tobacco, leather, dried herbs and porcini.
Slightly drying finish prevents this wine from gaining an excellent score.

August 14, 2021 - Medium garnet, and fading edges. Toasty, cloves, caramel, and cherry, as well as fairly heightened tannins though rather soft. Fair length, tannin driven finish

May 3, 2021 - Drank absolutely perfect. So much depth, but not sure if it has the legs for much more time. Delicate.

December 25, 2020 - was a little scared thinking I held this too long. rusty edged purple...30 mins of air the fruit comes back strong....cherry, dusty tannins, spice, tar...long finish. Like most brunello...scorched earthiness and not overly complex....really good.

December 13, 2020 - Brick red color. Strawberry and caramel on the nose. The tannins were silky smooth with a lot of strawberry, caramel and butter scotch. The finish was decently long with caramel and even some floral notes coming out. I don’t have enough experience with old Brunellos to know whether this would’ve been better a few years ago, but it was delicious, now.

November 25, 2020 - Decanted for four hours. Rusty light red color that clung to glass. Tea leave flavors at first, then creamy vanilla flavors that transitioned to cherry fruit flavors. Long finish. Aged well.

September 14, 2020 - Distinctive aged Sangiovese. Berry, cassis, tar. Some browning. Still very enjoyable but close to the cliff. Drink up.
