December 29, 2016 - A very enjoyable mature Californian Cabernet. A nose of casis and forest floor. The palate has a herbal streak running through it with a bit of sweetness and black currant.
April 23, 2016 - Drinking really well right now. A good core of fruit and pretty resolved at this point. Probably in the middle of its prime drinking window.
February 12, 2016 - It didn't pack the complexity I want from a 22 year old wine, but was thrilled that it was still good. It was smooth and subtle.

December 24, 2013 - Delicious and deep. Just what I expected.
September 29, 2013 - Medium garnet with some bricking at the rim. Aroma was off putting upon opening. Took about 45 min. for the must to blow off, revealing some more floral attributes. Not much fruit left. Heavy on the earthy flavors...forest floor, mushroom, tobacco and cedar. Felt like this had actually turned the corner and was heading down.
May 15, 2013 - Double decanted and then drank immediately over 1 hr. Last of my bottles. Good timing. Enjoyed with strip steaks and morels. The fruity core that once dominated has slowly dissapeared, leaving traces of earth petals and raspberries. The fruit is starting to fade, but in a good way. Starting to show teritary aromas which are the reason I cellar wines. If you enjoy old world napa cabs, this one is ready to bring pleasure to your evening. Great pairing for a dinner that was not over the top in flavors. Drink up.

March 24, 2011 - Cork leaked air and which clearly showed in the taste of the wine. Very disappointed. Much better on the nose than on the palate!
