May 25, 2022 - Tasted blind. Med lemon w/ med+ to high tears. Med+ intensity aromas of ripe cider apples, lemon, lime, white orchard blossoms, honey and a touch of VA. Neutral oak, if any. Slightly off-dry, with med+ to high acidity, high alcohol (15% but seemingly less). Full body, with med+ flavor intensity and length, with a pleasant, grapefruit pith bitterness on the finish. Very good, with the potential for further improvement with additional aging. I thought it was a sec or tendre still Vouvray.

May 11, 2022 - Alittle tight after a vigorous double decant. But on the palate rather magical and wonderful stuff.

April 19, 2022 - During a tasting dinner of the Pipette group. This was really amazing. Classy and complex nose of citrus fruit, herbs, white flowers and ice bobon. On the palate if feels fresh and light like a Riesling GG despite the 15% alc. Really a grand, sophisticated white wine.

November 27, 2021 - So glad I only purchased one bottle of this. A very odd wine and not my thing at all. As per my understanding, this is a wine to have over multiple days which is how I approached it.
Day 1: Like tart, unsweetened apple cider with just a touch of funk. Not my thing. Didn't quite finish the glass.
Day 2 and 3: Nuse a bit more vibrant. Higher acidity than day 1. With a bit of spritz and an unpleasant tingle on the tongue, there is too much to distract from the fruit and wine itself.
Day 4 was Thanksgiving - did not try it.
Day 5: Nose still a bit like apples. High acidity but fruit seems masked some with alcohol and nutty flavors. Not particularly enjoyable.1 person found this helpful Comments (2) -

September 26, 2021 - 2nd bottle in two months. Notes are pretty consistent. One of the best white wines I’ve had. Had this at a dinner where DRC Montrachet was tasted and I preferred this wine by a lot. Absolutely loaded with myriad floral notes, roasted nuts, petrol and tangerine. It’s a rich and creamy wine without any noticeable oak. Stunning.
