  August 24, 2019 - This was singing. Makes me believe it's all the same juice as the '91. It has the same finish as the '91. It doesn't have the nose or mouth of that--but I'm pretty sure it's still young and the graphite is covering the fruit! No score because you need to read this for the goodies.

  June 11, 2015 - Chocolate, blackberry and hints of cedar and violets. Flavors of cassis and black fruit. Tannic and austere through the finish.

  January 23, 2013 - Kind of a basic good drinker Cab. Doesn't have the complexity that a really good cab should bring to the table

  January 5, 2012 - Last of four bottles bought inexpensively. Solid blueberry notes with a bit of sweet fruit. Still seems young. The flavor has nice depth, though this is not particularly complex. I have never tasted another vintage, but for a Sonoma cab in this price range, Souverain did a good job in '04.
