May 25, 2016 - not bad for a wine that probably peaked 5 years ago.

November 14, 2011 - This wine has improved in the cellar. Very nice acidity that made it sparkle. Smooth pear finish.

April 7, 2010 - Nice med pale to med yellow with a v slight green tinge - nice nose of apples, quince, pear, and a faint broader note - nice round entry, nice balance w good acidity and fruit, and a nice subtle leesy/oak note - all the pieces are pulling in the same direction, and the finish ends in a smoky note that suits it well to food - very nice and holding up well. This might keep another 1-3 years, but it is drinking perfectly right now.

March 31, 2010 - Still crankin', though we should have had it last year. A good bottle to christen the porch for Spring weather. Nice creaminess with pear, pineapple & honey. Very nice.

February 9, 2010 - Ok, this one delivers for the price...like others have said, reminds me of a Chardonnay, but with less oak. The nose is complicated, but i'm getting pineapple, some nutty/vanilla combo. Must say swear i had an initial hit of cotton candy. The mouth feel is bordering creamy, soft textures with similar notes as the nose, more vanilla/nutty components - but not the classic "oaky" kind if you know what i mean - this was more classic vanilla/almond. There is a decent amount of acid/tartness combined in here, and i guess makes this an interesting mix with food.

May 4, 2009 - We had this with grilled lobster tail on 5/4/09. It had a great bouquet of lemon, pear and vanilla aromas. The palate followed with lemon, pear, melon, vanilla and apricot flavors. It was very smooth, round, creamy and delicious. My wife hated it and I can’t understand why!

September 7, 2008 - Lemon meringe pie or bananas foster and coconut - BUT not in too sweet of a fashion. Lots of steely edge and a touch of oak. Very pleasant and good with food or solo. Nice value.
