July 15, 2022 - Even better than the 2018. Deep and dark, a bit gravel with some plum and a hint of berry. Very smooth and dry. Just a pinch of acid at the end. Lovely.

June 5, 2021 - Decanted for two hours and consumed over the following two. Best results were attained when served at 60 degrees. Ruby red in the glass with a "creamy thickness" I've seldom seen with Napa cabs..but it was only a distraction. Dark cherry and floral aromas. There was a subtle fruit forwardness to the juice initially but all elements came into balance shortly thereafter. Fresh and complex, with flavors of dark and red fruits, cola, chocolate mocha and cinnamon. Rich, elegant and polished with dusty tannins and sufficient acidity to go for years in the cellar. Moderately long and enjoyable finish. Will benefit from at least another year in the bottle but really approachable now with decent exposure to air.
