September 20, 2020 - Nice light balanced. Refreshing.

December 21, 2019 - From halv bottle. Starting to get a bit orange bricking in the edges, center core is still deep ruby red.

Perfumed, intense nose. Candied cherries, marzipan, orange peel. Complex and exciting.

Palate is intense and powerful with tart cherries and spices. Still some tannins present. This wine is good, but not stellar. Well balanced but lacks a bit complexity and concentration on the palate. Do not think this will improve much more. The wine seems to lack the power to compete with the acidity over the long haul. Drink up.

August 21, 2017 - A bit disappointing to say the least from a 1er Cru - La Perriere. Dark fruit aromatics versus a lighter strawberry type note which I expected. The mouth lacked fruit presence and had more of tertiary earth flavors. EG #WineArchitect #ArchitecturalArtistry

August 1, 2009 - Great pinot noir consumed at the restaurant. Wet ground, herbs, and red fruit, not very expressive. On mouth is a different story, incredible long, charm, dense, almost sweet for a burgundian pinot noir, with an elegance and texture hard to believe. Tannins well integrated, with a very good structure and acidity. Drinking very well now, it can rest a couple of years in cellar.
