October 16, 2023 - The wine was double decanted and consumed out of a Grassl 1855 stem at 55°F. The color was very deep purple. The nose was of a lighter blackberry liquor and baking spices. The flavor is of black fruits, brown spices and cocoa. There is medium to medium(+) acidity and grainy tannins. The body is full and mouth coating. There is noticeable heat on the finish. The wine is not balanced, maybe it will improve slightly with a few more years in bottle or a long decant. This is not my style of cabernet but it's a decent QPR.

July 24, 2023 - Over extraction at its finest. Practically fortified @16%abv.
    Ridiculous,
The politically correct review is, this wine is not my style.

November 29, 2021 - Wow! The nose on this is amazing…right out of the bottle and holds for hours…baking/mulled spices with some cranberry and cherry. I rated a 94 because the nose is so big and in your face as you just don’t get this big of a nose in many wines. This is just a lot of fun to drink and watching others sniff it for the first time and their facial expressions is a blast! Great wine for the money and very drinkable now. The taste and mouthfeel are in line with a 92 pout wine. I agree with the previous comment that it will be interesting to see how this improves over the next couple of years, but drink some now in case the nose mellows over time! I will continue to buy more of this and for the money it’s a bargain!

October 16, 2021 - Nice, but young, Cab Sav. Smooth with chocolate notes, but well structured too.

August 5, 2021 - A little green on the nose at first - like broken twig or green leaf. Baking spices, maybe fruit cake or plum pudding and some ginger bread too. A little milk chocolate, blackberries, leather and delicious tannins. Gentle acidity, a prickly lengthy finish. Drinking well now but I can see it improving over the next few years

April 27, 2021 - A nice low end Aussie Cab. Molly Dooker is better on Shiraz, but this isn't bad for $25. It's still very young.

March 29, 2021 - inky dark color. blackcurrant vanilla nose. Lots of black fruit on the palate, soft tannins, smooth mouthfeel, no heat despite 16% alcohol. This is a lush, hedonistic wine that's a bargain at $26. Better than the 2017 vintage. Noticeably better on day 2. Now I'm buying a case.
