September 7, 2021 - Pulled cork from initial Coravin pull. Consumed over several days.

Wine plumped up with ox but lost some of the structure that I enjoyed on the palate with the Coravin. I think this is a shorter term PNP gem that has a nice QPR.

August 29, 2021 - Rounded out a six pack after purchasing Sleeping Lady and Martinez vineyard. Glad this bottle found it's way into the purchase because at $95 it's a damn good wine. One of the better drinking 18's at this stage.

Coravin pulled two glass. VERY floral nose in a good way. Rounded and plush fruit but not opulent or over the top in anyway. Long finish. I'll pull the cork later in the week and spend a proper couple of days to see how this wine develops. 94+

March 27, 2021 - Perhaps like others, I decided to give this new winery a try after the glowing Vinous reviews. Included with my order of their top-end wines, the winery generously added a free bottle of their Reserve. Sincere thanks to them for that! Rather than wait, I cracked the Reserve to share with two collector friends outdoors on a beautiful cigar night. The Reserve is terrific. Very drinkable now, with a balanced style that is pure delicious cab, no extraction or jam. Don't wait for something different with this bottle. It's terrific now, and my friends agreed. Very much looking forward to the single vineyard bottles.

March 12, 2021 - Clearly very early on this wine. Notes after 24 hours of air. Aromas of fragrant earth, blackberries, tobacco, menthol and spice box. Fresh, with big tannins and lots of deeply mineral driven flavors. This is certainly not an extracted, fruit driven wine. Exceptional tension and structure, this begs for more time in the bottle, but alas, I am not that patient. A dry wine, with a very long lingering and fairly astringent finish at the moment. Overall, this is excellent at the price point, but don't think of it as an early drinker like others in this price range. Built for time in the bottle and very classic in its appeal (i.e. this is not Myriad or Bevan folks!).
