December 19, 2021 - Celery seed in a cast iron pan. Super polished palate, with black olive and fine pepper. Drinking very nicely.

November 26, 2021 - Just slightly more advanced than some of the other bottles I have had.

It was totally seamless with light tannin and classic Cote Rotie flavors. After 5 hours of air is just tipped into 94 point territory.

This was certainly 100% ready. Impressive and consistent.

September 13, 2021 - I had this bottle open for some 5+ hours and it very much resembled my last bottle. It was quite a solid showing and, after 3+ hours of air, was pushing the 94 point barrier.

A lovely bottle that will last at this level for at least 5 years.

November 1, 2020 - From a perfect looking bottle, this wine had a red center and orange rims. The medium+ intensity nose emanated sauteed cherries, roasted meat, and some soil. It was quite attractive.

In the mouth, this wine was attractive at first and maybe ranked in the 90-91 point range. After 3 hours of air it developed an extra boost of fruit that upped its score. It was ripe with rounded tannin, some complexity, and decent length.

This wine had a Burgundy mouthfeel but the flavors were clearly not Burgundy. It was attractive and in the middle of its drinking zone. It should stay at this level for at least 5+ years. Enjoy!
