  May 28, 2023 - From a field blend vineyard in St Helena, planted mostly of Zin and Petite Sirah, as well as Chenin Blanc, Alicante, Carignane, Negrette, Mourvedre, Gamay, Refosco...14.9 abv. this is the kitchen sink of Turley goodness here...wonderful brambly, crushed wild berries, rustic underbrush, white pepper, leather, sweet pipe tobacco...the fruit is ample and liqueured...bright with tartness...yet chiseled with crushed granite minerality, red licorice dryness...peppery Zinberry and smoooth as silk Petite Sirah softness...a little short and bitter on the finish...but all in all this is some FUN stuff field blend goodness here! Wonderful wine with a couple slabs of bbq ribs!

  May 27, 2023 - 4th Saturday Group: Old & Young (J&S): Double blind. An initial dominant aroma that reminded me of the red fruit roll ups I enjoyed in my childhood. It’s cooked/jammy but not in an offensive way. With time in the glass it becomes less cooked/jammy and more dark fruited, adding an intriguing pine forest quality as well. Ripe, sweet dark fruit on the palate. (V&M)

  May 15, 2023 - Disappointing from Turley. Definitely seemed a cut below the usual standard. Still OK, just not up to the better vineyards.

  March 27, 2023 - Has the depth of character of a great southern Rhone, with a little New World fruit edge. Great stuff. Drinnking beautifully now, but a long future.

  September 30, 2022 - Wow. Not sure what the other two reviewers were drinking but this is one fine cuvee when tasted at 60 degrees. Pronounced fruity nose and tastes of well balanced fine granite and fruit. Long aftertaste.
