    August 10, 2018 - My best friend Giuseppe gave me 2 bottles of this wine. The first I drank it shortly after opening it: I did not enjoy it. This one, I decanted and drank it over a gigantic steak about 2 hours after treating.
    The wine looks light brown colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like high toast. It tastes like mineral. The body is medium. The wine has polished texture. The wine finishes short. The wine has medium acidity.

    March 7, 2015 - Plum and pencil box nose. Savory, brown sugar, blackberry. Some grip but a short finish.

    December 4, 2012 - Very Good wine. The Merlot/Cab blend added alot of complexity. Big nose, opened fruity. Day later was rich with barnyard on the nose. Pepper.

    December 2, 2012 - Garnet color. Nose of raspberries and mulberries, licorice, and wet green herbs. Fruit is fading but exhibits spicy dark berries and plums, chocolate and cigar box. Decent claret but the oak overwhelms the fruit on the finish. A classic case of not enough fruit for the oak. Drink up!

    September 28, 2012 - Popped and poured with linguine arrabiata, then finished off the next night with grilled burgers. Aroma is leather & tobacco with some dark berries in there, too. Taste has the tobacco right away, with the fruit flavor of plum. This is enjoyable, but I did like it better a year or two ago when it had a bit more strength of dark fruits.

    February 1, 2012 - May be slightly in decline. Rounded out dark fruit flavors with mellowing tannins. Makes a great food wine. Drink now.
