February 13, 2017 - This is the second label from Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste. Mature nose of orange rind, stone, and boysenberries. Silky and seamless. Just so soft and playful. Mature red fruit, with hints of smoke and stone underneath. Gentle, somewhat short finish. You can tell it is the second label, but it is a great one. In a prime drinking window.

November 5, 2013 - Nez crémeux de fruits noirs, cassis et de menthol. Les tanins sont encore anguleux, ils nécessitent encore davantage de vieillissement. La finale est brûlante et assez déséquilibrée encore.

October 13, 2013 - Absolutely delicious and tremendous balance, no other way to put it. For $25, I'll buy this again and again and again

January 30, 2012 - Vibrant ruby, with pink rim.
Still young but very approachable right now.
Classical Pauillac nose, plenty of dark fruits, sitchuan pepper, cooked meats and italian salami.
Medium bodied with well integrated tannins and flavors of prunes, earth, wild cherries and sultanas.
    Medium aftertaste

January 20, 2012 - Very dark purple in colour.
Licorice on the nose. Touch of savour elements.
Blackcurrant fruit pastille on the palate. Smoothe and easy to drink. Soft tannins. High of alcohol and acidity on the. Finish.
