초콜릿 같은 뉘앙스도.
바롤로에서 생소한 느낌들도 있다.
라운드한 타닌, 적당한 산미.
상당히 접근성도 좋고 따마자자 맛있다.
구조감도 괜찮고, 복합미가 살짝 부족한게 흠.
가성비 좋음.
April 16, 2023 - Fresh and vibrant. Lively nose of red fruit, some quay, tar and flowers. Palate is tight with firm tannins. Dark fruit, leather, rose petal, and bing cherries.

January 27, 2023 - Quite short and getting flat after an hour in the glass
December 31, 2022 - Violet, anise, licorice, oak, dark fruit. Good and ready to drink.
October 22, 2022 - Needs more time yet. Tasted for 2 days. On the first day I waited for 6 hours and gave up. On the next day, tasted for 4 hours, very slowly. Cherry, wood, earthy note comes with well structured texture. Tannin is so intense and strong. The last glass shows hint of complex nose like mint, herb and some fresh fruit. Regret I didn’t use decanter.
October 1, 2022 - Very Nice elegant Barolo from mixed year (2017). Classic notes of 70’s style heavy aftershave (licorice root, tobacco, etc) - on the nose nice red fruits (strawberry).
Medium tannin (surprisingly low). Drank without decanting (“pop and pour”), but opened nicely after quick swirl in the glass. Really like it - interesting nose and rally quaffable.
August 21, 2022 - Second bottle in 2 months. A bit worried first was defect but turns out second was equally disappointing. Apparently difficult vintage and most likely not improving over time. A bit thin, less structure than anticipated, soft tannins and acid on the lower end. Ratti rarely under delivers but this Marcenasco was indeed not up to par.
August 8, 2022 - At first it is slightly disappointing, not very structured, grumpy. Left to settle for at least 40 minutes, it releases forest scents; cherry, dried grape, leather and wood. Tannic and persistent on the palate, good acidity with an important body, perfect balance. The last drink returns a velvety, pleasant tannin to be contemplated. An excellent year, from the langhe del Marcenasco, less valuable land near the Rocche dell'Annunziata, but Ratti is always a certainty!
