August 22, 2022 - It's simply good. This is quite possibly the first time that I've had a non-sparkling rose not bouncing around on a Caribbean beach or somewhere around the Mediterranean. This is also the first time that I've thoughtfully consumed a non-sparkling rose with the intention of evaluating it in a non-chaotic setting. Nose of white florals with indiscernable or amalgamated fruit: perhaps peach, citrus. Palate was a little more concrete: strawberries, faint peaches, some grapefruit. Light to medium bodied with a rounded pleasant mouthfeel. Enough acidity to pair with food, but not intrusive - perfect. Light powered finish at adequate length with an herbally spice kick. Objectively solid and well-made; balanced and delicious. *Made from Grenache, Cincault and Rolle. *Sacha Lichine purchased Chateau d'Esclans in 2006. *LVMH acquired 55% stake in 2019 and unleashed an even bigger behemoth marketing blitz. *Whispering Angel debut in 2007 selling 800 cases; more than 300,000 cases sold in 2017. By 2022 it is now THE omnipresent summer rose. Just crazy.

August 10, 2022 - Lovely balance between mineral, fruit (watermelon, strawberry) and a point of acidity. Long and ethereal. Better with food.

July 31, 2022 - Nicely balanced and refined, with good acidity and mouthfeel. Strawberries and cream with watermelon.

July 24, 2022 - A decent rose' with refreshing fruit, simple on the plate but harmonious. Agree with other tasters that this wine is best chilled in the fridge or on ice prior to serving. Pairs well with crackers and cheese and light summer fare.

July 20, 2022 - Opened this bottle at Yummy Palace over lunch with a wine mate. We had Fried Shrimps with Kai Lan, Roasted Duck, Iberico Pork, Mentaiko Fried Rice and Beancurd.

Salmon pink in colour with a very refreshing palate. Some wild floral on the nose with orange peel and citrus fruit flavours on the palate.

A straightforward wine that is ideal for a simple meal. Serve well chilled.
