April 10, 2015 - Such a wonderful wine that is perfectly balanced and has a nice deep dark fruit and fully integrated tannins. A wine that goes well with most anything, but especially good with a fine steak. So sad that this was our last bottle.

January 12, 2014 - Still drinking wonderfully and sad to only have one bottle left. Fruit has dwindled, but everything else is well integrated and tasting great.

November 6, 2013 - Well cellared. Drinking well. Fruit has faded a little to earthy flavors. Tobacco and a bit of leather, with notes of dark fruit. Good finish - not long but satisfying

August 19, 2013 - A very pleasant bitter backbone to this wine. The nose is dusty and full of ripe blackberries. The fruit is still vibrant, and turns to a mix of red and black berries. The finish is long and plummy. Overall a very pleasant surprise found on cellar reorganization.

August 9, 2013 - It's roulette time. This bottle was still nice. Last few were iffy. This one had very few tannins left with a touch of fruit still. Good wine, but those who still have some better drink it soon

November 1, 2012 - - Garnet color and aromas of blackberry, black currant and oak and has flavours of black currant and vanilla - Still drinking nicely. It might be on it's downward trend, but still very tasty.

September 15, 2012 - Really supple mouthfeel. Still lively fruit. The acid structure isn't as there was it once was, but this is still a pleasure to drink. It's not getting any better, though. Drink within the year.

April 2, 2012 - Still one of my most favorite table wines (ie. under $15/btl) and the flavors are so spot on and beautifully integrated. Nice deep dark fruit, a potent mocha/dark chocolate aftertone, and some herbal earthiness mixed in. Even still has a bit of the tannic kick from the Petite Sirah, which I love about it. Went perfect with a fried kielbasa/veggies over noodles dinner. I'll be sad when my last bottle is gone.
