March 5, 2024 - Full-bodied, concentrated fruit aroma when opened.
    Beautiful texture and well-balanced oak.
Best decantered for a period before drinking.
    Drinking beautifully in March 2024.
This wine could not improve with more bottle aging.
The wine looks crimson colored. The legs are slow. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry, toast and black pepper. It tastes like blackberry. The body is full. The wine has round texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has low acidity.

April 12, 2020 - Still inky black/purple. Whiffs of blackcurrant syrup, mint and eucalyptus on the nose. A touch of spice. Silky but powerful on the palate - nice balance of acidity, fruit, tannins. Hints of leather and chocolate. Long sweet finish. A big wine. Drinking well.

August 25, 2019 - Very full bodied, concentrated fruit and liquorice/leather type notes.
Beautiful texture and well balanced oak and tannins.
Needs decantering for at least 30 mins.
    Drinking great in mid 2019.
I’d leave it another 1-2 years max.

March 2, 2018 - This bottle feels rather disjointed. The cocoa and eucalyptus flavours are very strong and the rich fruit which this wine undisputably has, is suppressed. There also is a strange note of green apple on the finish. It may just be too old, but my guess is that it is faulty - although I don’t know what is wrong exactly. Low-level acrolein?

July 1, 2017 - Seemed quite youthful still, no sediment. A lighter red in colour & once opened for an hour no sign of the 15% alcohol.
