January 12, 2015 - This was really good. Opend an hour before dinner. Drank over 2 days, night in the fridge. The first night it was just amazing. Opaque ruby red with a brown edge. Spice, tar and jam on the palate. Very good balance. medium finish. Second night it had losts is magic. it was flat.

July 13, 2012 - I always really enjoy drinking this wine. Just as many Southern Rhone make me think of black licorice in a glass, the Custodian is always a glass full of raspberries. At $15 (NZ) this cant be beaten. Some secondary flavours coming through now and it probably best to consume my last bottle sooner rather than later. Lovely.
