June 30, 2014 - Not bad. If anything, it's still a little hot and flabby - but there might not be much left when that calms down.

December 7, 2013 - Has held up well. This had a bouquet of coca cola with raspberry. Nice thick front, a little hot on the finish, but this ended up being a nice surprise and a great value.

November 6, 2013 - At this point in its development its a big blousy wine, with over the top aromatics of heavy jammy dark fruit, wood, raisins and alcohol. At 14.6% its approaching bruiser country. This uber ripe, super extracted, rich, now soft, palate coater lacks life or spark and is descending into jammy sweetish-ness.

I rate it as high as I do because its still not over the hill but could be shortly so drink up as fast as your tired lips and palate can take this stuff.....

The fact that Community Holdings are still showing more than 200bottles are still in Cellar Tracker cellars is shocking. There are a lot of folks out there that are going to be very disappointed.

Great glass bottle though - the punt on this thing must be 6 inches deep, and the wax capsule was a nice touch of faux class. Nothing says a fine wine in the bottle like a thick hunk of glass protecting it from the elements doyathink???

November 5, 2013 - Straightforward wine. Still drinking well without much benefit from age. May have actually been a little more fun a couple years ago. Smooth and pleasant, but nothing interesting to pick apart on this one. Simple taste despite varied components.

December 26, 2012 - Blackberries and juicy wild forest berries, blueberry; medium full body; a bit heavy handed with full-on oak and warm alcohol, but age has integrated this somewhat and was more appealing than in the past. 89-90

January 15, 2012 - A good wine that tasted better as it came close to room temperature. Used some of this wine to make a chicken coq au vin that was excellent! In hind sight, decanting this wine may have improved taste and my score.

November 18, 2011 - Is there a bad Abbot's Table Vintage? The 2006 was one of my favorites. Well balanaced and smooth. Great fruit flavor without being overbearing.

May 13, 2011 - Sad to say our last bottle, on the flip side the next vintage is just as good. Paired with maple hazelnut crusted salmon smoked on a cedar plank. Not bad for a home cooked meal. The maple and jammy tastes paired great. Chocolate to finish off also matched perfectly.

May 2, 2011 - Had with truffle cheese and dried dates on toasted walnut bread. The jammy taste lifted the truffle earthy bite to balance the pairing
