May 10, 2022 - Tight, structured and shy to begin with. It unfurls majestically in the glass to show notes of brioche, lemon curd, chalk, grilled nuts and cinnamon. It had superb detail and power, building through the palate and finishing with so much chalky dry extract and saline minerality. Wonderful to try now but several decades away from its eventual apogee.

A stunning champagne. I had this wine twice 6 weeks before. It is getting better and better. The power is incredible but such an elegance and brilliant acidity likewise. Roasted pine nuts, honey, macadamia and yuzu juice. It will age for decades. The best 2008 I had so far. Waiting for CdM. In a few years it will bw perfection. 99 for the moment

Drank it over 2 days. Very powerful, 30% PN, maybe this is the reason, much better than Krug 2008 that I had the second day. Typical roasted pine nuts, great acidity, not completely settled and balanced. 97-98

January 20, 2022 - This really was fantastic. Probably the best champagne I've ever had. Light and crisp with great acidity, but so much complexity and depth at the same time. This is a reference point for me in terms of how good champagne can get.

    August 8, 2021 - Selosse Millesime 2008.
Mer lukket og slankere enn 09.
Noe av det mest intense jeg har smakt.
    Sylskarp laser.
Rå konsentrasjon og stram som en badehette.
Crazy lengde med fantastisk mineralitet. 96p
