August 4, 2010 - Another rock solid performance by this fine little baby Brunello. No real changes over the last seven months. Beautiful!

January 10, 2010 - An iridescent red-brown-orange color in the glass. After opening for 30 minutes a light nose of creosote and baked strawberries with modest wood appeared. Rose pedals, dark red fruits, leather and cocoa powder were on the palate. The finish was not overly tannic, but quite delicate and rich. The old barriques are at work here. Very small producer, a lovely wine.

July 4, 2009 - What we have here is a perfectly balanced old world wine that is driven as much by structure and secondary characteristics as fruit. There's not as much bouquet as I would like but the flavors are delicious with dried cherries, leather, tar, herbs and a lingering sensation of roses as the wine finishes. Excellent.
