    October 29, 2021 - From magnum

maturing gold-yellow color, sexy sweet brioche and white flowers on the nose, mandarin orange, on the palate still young and vibrant with a great orange-driven acid finish, long lean finish- but showy in its way, with time opened further and showed some of that almost unruly (in a good way) excitement of my last encounter, citrus, pastry crust, dark mousse notes still not yet fully opened, apple notes, wonderfully crisp finish.

October 23, 2021 - Pale golden wow what a treat very elegant and aristocratic first exotic notes and pink grapefruit from the 35% Chardonnay after 30
Minutes an explosion of red berries luscious and seducing very fine bubbles full bodied and a nice touch of bitterness disgorged in 2007

June 9, 2021 - Acker's Post-COVID BYO, Dinner and Auction Simulcast (Craft - New York NY): Small glass from magnum, brief note. Brighter and longer vs the 1991, but not nearly as rich, complex or nuanced.

April 24, 2021 - Golden yellow. Wonderfully floral and citrus nose with elements of brioche. Rich and creamy with very good freshness. Great length.

(Philipponnat Champagne Brut Clos des Goisses) Straw yellow in color, this rare, complex beauty has initial terroir-driven aromas of dust, chalk, slate, and earth, followed by ginger, lemon, pink-grapefruit, pear-compote, and honeyed, yeasty notes. The perfume is soft, delicate, and complex. A silky, round, creamy entry is followed by caramel, ginger-ale, honey, vanilla, rosewater, slate, apple-pie, and strawberry flavors. It is extremely elegant and complex, with a fine, airy mousse and a precise, flawless focus. One of the greatest Champagnes on earth. The Shifting Landscape of Champagne
