July 14, 2023 - Made using a blend of traditional Provencal grape varieties, including Grenache, Cinsault, and Rolle (Vermentino). These grapes are carefully harvested and undergo a delicate vinification process to preserve the freshness and fruity character of the wine.

The 2020 vintage of Château Miraval Côtes de Provence Rosé is known for its pale pink color and elegant profile. On the nose, you can expect delicate aromas of berries, citrus, and flowers, creating a refreshing and inviting bouquet. On the palate, it offers a balanced acidity, crispness, and vibrant flavors. Its has a very clean, dry, and well-rounded finish, making it incredibly enjoyable on its own or as a pairing with a variety of dishes. This is a fine example of a Provencal rosé, offering a delightful combination of freshness, fruitiness, and elegance.

June 10, 2023 - In spite of the celebrity ownership, this is a serious rose. Pale salmon color, with a light frame. Upfront chalky minerality, with lots of intense flavor clusters: ripe strawberry; juicy tangerine; yellow melon; and canned peach, framed with a medium acidic core. Acidity provides balance, with reasonable complexity generated from the minerality and fruits. Slightly bitter and distracting finish from the chunky minerals holds this back from being great. Drink now. Great QPR as a Garagiste Mystery offering at less than $14 (local price is currently $20).

January 17, 2023 - Expressive nose with peach, pear and apple. Quite short. Somewhat bitter. Maybe already too old.

December 10, 2022 - Pale Pink-gold. Very stony nose with lemon zest and a hint of strawberry. Some melon comes through on the palate as well. Medium acidity. Light and creamy texture with a surprisingly long finish where the minerality and tartness linger pleasantly.

August 23, 2022 - 2020 Château Miraval Côtes de Provence Rosé

📚Château Miraval is both a château and a vineyard that is now made famous by ex Hollywood power couple; Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. Although the former have recently sold her share.

However, what is lesser known, it is a partnership with renowned wine maker Marc Perrin of Famille Perrin, maker of the Chateau de Beaucastel Chateauneuf-Du-Pape.

The château sat on a site first inhabited in pre-Roman times. Its previous owner, French jazz pianist Jacques Loussier, installed a recording studio in 1977: Sting and The Cranberries recorded there, and Pink Floyd laid down tracks for The Wall album, released in 1979.

    👀 Pale copper in color.
👃 Fresh, and crisp. It exudes delicate yet clear notes of melon, berries like raspberry and strawberry, floral and steely mineral .
👅 Juicy and bright yet robust and structured. Textured mouthfeel.
💭 I’m usually skeptical of celebrity endorsed anything or wine for this matter. However, this Rosé really took me by surprise. Absolutely ready to be enjoyed!
